Impenetrable Discipline

When I served in the United States Marine Corps one thing was laconically clear to me, and that was, we had the impenetrable discipline to train even when there was no conflict on the horizon! We had the impenetrable discipline to train when everyone else was shopping, sleeping, partying, etc. We had the impenetrable discipline to train no matter how we felt or what we were experiencing in any facet of our lives! As people of faith in the modern era, we must train (what it means to read and study the bible, communicate with our Father in Heaven through fervent prayer, fasting, read relative theological works that help to educate and anchor our faith, etc.) with an impenetrable discipline when there is no conflict on the horizon; when everyone else is distracted with the cares of this life; and when we aren’t feeling our best and sometimes under duress through what we experience! We must be faithful to this lifestyle of worship because the time of conflict will appear and we must be ready, confident, and available to the Lord (our Commander and Chief) to serve and serve with surgical precision! Conflict has appeared all around us in the modern era in many forms! These conflicts are not natural requiring man made weapons and policies! These conflicts are spiritual and mystical (what it means to be in the unseen realm) requiring weapons of mass spiritual destruction and the timeless principles of our faith! Many around us are spiritually, animistically, and physically war weary and torn to magnanimous proportions! We must be ready with a word of wisdom, unconditional love, prayer, hugs, tears, worship, psalms and spiritual songs, etc; in order to prevent more spiritual casualties! (1 Peter 3:15) People can say and feel whatever they want, however, we must be wise enough to know that our training, discipline, and faith is critically needed in this hour no matter what people may say or rationalize about us! The true meaning of the term “miracle” has been lost in our generation! A “miracle” is not the defying of natural laws but the restoration of a subject or object to what was originally intended! Spiritual disorder in people’s hearts psychosomatically creates the maladies and dysfunctional diseases and experiences that cause such great suffering! Real miracles break out when we speak to the radix (latin word meaning root) of the human spirit and watch as it is restored to what was originally intended! Our words are critically powerful and what we’re saying deeply matters! There are many physically healthy people who are dying internally! My fellow believers, our training is critical, our time of conflict is before us, and we must answer the call if we are to win this war! (Just reflecting in the early morning hour)
