Abuse Of Power and Strength

Looking out across the landscape of the modern era it’s quite easy to detect the abuse of power and strength in many facets of life! Political, religious, business, and relationships are just a few amongst a myriad of other facets that have been plagued by this misappropriation of power and strength! The attitude is “I will because I can” which is an attitude that clokes the real truth of estrangement from real power and strength that such victims so cleverly hide! More ominously, these victims also seem to project this pseudo sense of power and strength upon others they view as inferior when in reality (with a keen sense of discernment) we can detect that they are really projecting upon others their insecurity and estrangement from who they really could be if they allowed themselves to be harnessed and eternally strengthened with absolute power and strength that originates from the only true source of lasting power and strength, the Spirit of God! We, as created beings in the image and likeness of God, can never find the true source of lasting power and strength until we allow the Spirit of God to harness and also direct our estranged hearts into this everlasting source (the true meaning of “Divine Providence”) apart and exclusive from our own ambition! Our true and powerful selves can only emerge as we fully immerse ourselves in this deeply penetrating process which will lead us to the greatest revelation of our personal existence; namely that we can exhibit true strength and power without harming and destroying everyone else in the process of natural and spiritual order and simultaneously use our strength and power to build ourselves and also others in our ambit of influence! The Kerygma Of Christ

Interesting to note is the absolute critical fact that much of the gospel preached in our churches today is not the kerygma that the Apostles preached in the first century churches! Kerygma is a Greek word used to denote that the gospel was in Christ! In Christ refers to the fact that the gospel message was transmitted by the Holy Ghost to the Apostles through ecstatic revelatory experiences garnered as they sought the mind of Christ to not only render effective leadership in the church but also to be the very mouthpieces of their Lord in honor of what he accomplished for them in His death, burial, and resurrection! The Apostles gospel being in Christ (kerygma) was a direct correlation of them having the mind of Christ which occurred when their minds (through ecstatic revelatory experiences) would go beyond themselves but not outside of themselves (as in demonic possession) in order to garner what was in the heart of their Lord in any given epoch of time! From a theological point of view this quality of thinking is referred to as “theonomous thinking” or ratiocination (logical process) that seeks identity with the very essence of Christ as the Living Word! Jesus Christ in proceeding from the Father as the Living Word (homoousios), would in revelatory fashion, express words that would proceed from Him denoting what the essence of the gospel to be proclaimed was to be! Words like repentance, sin, hell, torment, iniquity, forgive, believe, etc. Essential words expressed by the Living Word so that His message would saliently stand alone from all other messages in the world! The Kerygma of Christ is exclusive to all other gods, false ideologies, pseudo and quasi religions, rudiments of epistemological knowledge, etc. Be gravely concerned fellow preachers, theologians, servants of the Lord Jesus Christ, that rendering any other message not born of the kerygmatic essence of The Living Word Jesus Christ will indelibly imprint on your seared reprobate conscience His statement of adjudication when He states: “Depart from me you worker of iniquity”! Spiritually Draining

How spiritually draining is it to be in a personal relationship with a person who is not filled with the Holy Spirit! When the vicissitudes of life make their presentation they have no power to stand/withstand and therefore must parasitically energize themselves with yours! Ratiocination (Logical processes of reason), animistic response (responses in the ontological realm of the soul), and spiritual acumen (discernment through ecstatic revelatory experiences) become compromised damaging and marking the relationship as one of battle and weakness rather than one of strength and love! Fear and distrust ensue making victims rather than agents of unconditional love! This is what makes the word of the Lord true through the Apostle Paul when he states: “Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers” and again: “What part hath he that believeth with an infidel”! The only answer to this conundrum is the “New Coherency” (Cox) or “New Creation” (Paul) or “New Being” (Tillich) in Christ! (Another oil point from “Theology Nation”)

Engaging The Holy Spirit

There are two absolutely critical things to consider when engaging our precious Holy Spirit! Firstly, do you have the Holy Spirit’s presence and power communing with and operating in you? In other words, is He your precious possession? Secondly, (and just as critical) Does the Holy Spirit have your presence and power communing with and operating in Him? In other words, are you His precious possession? The clear and present danger becomes speaking and working for the Lord in a way that is unauthorized by His Spirit because this dynamic principle (or what it means to have life-force/vitality as concrete rule) is lacking! This will bring the caveat in the word of the Lord to pass when He states: “Many will say to me in that day Lord we have done many wonderful works in your name….. but I will say depart from me you workers of iniquity I never knew you”! Impenetrable Discipline

When I served in the United States Marine Corps one thing was laconically clear to me, and that was, we had the impenetrable discipline to train even when there was no conflict on the horizon! We had the impenetrable discipline to train when everyone else was shopping, sleeping, partying, etc. We had the impenetrable discipline to train no matter how we felt or what we were experiencing in any facet of our lives! As people of faith in the modern era, we must train (what it means to read and study the bible, communicate with our Father in Heaven through fervent prayer, fasting, read relative theological works that help to educate and anchor our faith, etc.) with an impenetrable discipline when there is no conflict on the horizon; when everyone else is distracted with the cares of this life; and when we aren’t feeling our best and sometimes under duress through what we experience! We must be faithful to this lifestyle of worship because the time of conflict will appear and we must be ready, confident, and available to the Lord (our Commander and Chief) to serve and serve with surgical precision! Conflict has appeared all around us in the modern era in many forms! These conflicts are not natural requiring man made weapons and policies! These conflicts are spiritual and mystical (what it means to be in the unseen realm) requiring weapons of mass spiritual destruction and the timeless principles of our faith! Many around us are spiritually, animistically, and physically war weary and torn to magnanimous proportions! We must be ready with a word of wisdom, unconditional love, prayer, hugs, tears, worship, psalms and spiritual songs, etc; in order to prevent more spiritual casualties! (1 Peter 3:15) People can say and feel whatever they want, however, we must be wise enough to know that our training, discipline, and faith is critically needed in this hour no matter what people may say or rationalize about us! The true meaning of the term “miracle” has been lost in our generation! A “miracle” is not the defying of natural laws but the restoration of a subject or object to what was originally intended! Spiritual disorder in people’s hearts psychosomatically creates the maladies and dysfunctional diseases and experiences that cause such great suffering! Real miracles break out when we speak to the radix (latin word meaning root) of the human spirit and watch as it is restored to what was originally intended! Our words are critically powerful and what we’re saying deeply matters! There are many physically healthy people who are dying internally! My fellow believers, our training is critical, our time of conflict is before us, and we must answer the call if we are to win this war! (Just reflecting in the early morning hour)
