Love Ethic

What has clearly been overlooked in these precarious times in which we live is the “Love Ethic” which is a principle that refers to an individual’s ability to govern and adjudicate decisions based upon the ethic of Divine love. “Love Ethic” is a principle that expresses the need to love the other person not based upon any other qualifying factor such as race, creed, religion, sexual preference, etc. but based upon unconditional love that recognizes the other person as a centered ego (the true meaning of the term individual) made in the image and likeness of God the Father with the distinction of being a free moral agent. Luke 6:27-38 embodies the “Love Ethic” principle, however, it is the 38th verse that is the most telling. This verse is usually presented for the purpose of tithing however, contextually that is not what The Lord was referring to. He was referring to the detriment of judging the other person. He reveals that in us adjudicating as it relates to another person’s life we will receive that same adjudication (judgment) but at a greater measure and intensity. It’s interesting to note how we judge that others should receive the death penalty until our son, daughter, friend, etc is being strapped down and hooked to the needles. We judge an individual who is struggling with alcohol and drug addiction until it is one of our beloved family members or friends. We judge people in a gay lifestyle, we judge people who have different political or religious views, we judge people who are hurting, sick, afflicted, tormented, who want to be delivered and free until the day when death brings about a deathly manifestation in our own lives. Until we’re the center of the gossip, scorn, ridicule, and intense hate with it being given back to us with a greater intensity and then we cry for mercy but Jesus says none will be afforded because we did not give any in our time of strength. We must learn that the “Love Ethic” i.e. Divine Love is not based upon emotion or affect for the other person; it is rather based upon a spiritually mature response of good will towards all mankind with understanding that in adjudicating, hating, or harming the other person we should fully expect that deathly manifestation to be measured back to us with greater intensity. Christ Kingdom> Civil Conduct

Romans chapter 13 is the standard every believer is to conduct themselves by as it relates to civil law and political power. The substratum of this standard is based upon the two great commandments given by Jesus when challenged by the religious powers of his time: “Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind, and strength> (the second being like it) Love your neighbor as yourself.” There is no need to fear any governing powers when your absolute trust is in the Lord. The same God that turned King Nebuchadnezzar out to the field like a insane beast until he acknowledged Yaweh’s sovereignty, the same God that reduced four major world empires through several millennia to a fleeting thought, the same God who on May 14, 1948 birthed the nation of Israel in one day fulfilling Old Testament prophecy to the utter dismay of the League of Nations (U.N.), the same God that brought warriors from all over the world to break and destroy Hitler, the Third Reich, and the Axis powers without remedy is the “same” God that is able to deliver us from wayward civil and governmental powers by His mighty power. We will not bow but we must respect the structures given by our Sovereign King the Most High God out of respect and love for Him. Judgment is His and He will repay where His word is violated. He is calling us to be vigilant, sober minded, and to walk in a demonstration of His power and Spirit towards a watching unbelieving world. One Love in Christ and may the Spirit be in you!

Faith As Absolute Concern

Faith can be profoundly expressed as “ultimate concern” or in other words, what we are ultimately concerned about (Tillichian). Faith must express itself toward the subject of its ultimate or absolute concern in a manner consistent with what it holds as its infinite priority. Failure to do so in an on-going dialogue between the finite (existential being) and the infinite (Eternal Godhead) which expresses the principle of identity critically leads to demonic destruction in the subject of faith’s existential state. This demonic destruction takes the form of both the divine and the demonic at the same instance allowing the demonic to appear as light. This is the Apostle Paul’s declaration concerning deceitful workers when he writes: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Many of us have had individuals walk into our lives appearing as light and we have made them a priority sacrificing greatly towards their happiness and our own only to discover the darkness that they were living in that allowed satan and his forces to deceptively destroy part or all of our lives. We must accept that our faith in the God of our salvation and His Christ was given to us as a protective measure against the forces of darkness and that placing our absolute concern in anyone else or making them our highest priority violates this protective measure leading to demonic destruction. Just Participate

I find it so critical in these times, as a believer, to participate in the lives of others! Bringing to bear upon their lives the strength, love, truth, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, skill set, gifts, talents, and compassion the Lord has equipped me with! Just a listening ear, smile, hug, helping hand, encouraging word; making sure just to participate! Wow, so many hurting and confused individuals who seem to have it together publicly but privately struggling and some even tormented! Lord use us your servants and children to help heal!

Divine Love> Always Warranted

Divine Love is always warranted. Divine Love answers every circumstance in life because of its dualistic predilection. Divine Love’s first inclination is “Grace” that makes its presentation by its “in spite of” character. There is no circumstance in this life that can overwhelm or elude this mighty power because it seeks out the offender without merit or invitation. Thus, it brings the offender into its purview by dislodging them from their place of estrangement in spite of their effort to remain in bondage ( the true meaning of salvation by Grace). “Grace” continues to act upon the offender in all circumstances to destroy everything which is against Divine Love until it induces an alignment of the heart commensurate to its revelation (the true meaning of the term “faith”). The subsequent movement leads to the second inclination of Divine Love which is “Restoration”. This mighty power makes it presentation by its directing creativity (Divine Providence). Creatively seeking in present time to establish the subject of faith in the original order of destiny foreordained by the purpose of Divine Love (the true meaning of the term predestination). “Restoration” continues its progressive work as a center line of deliverance until the subject of faith reaches their full destined measure in Christ (progressive sanctification that culminates in spiritual maturity). As believers Divine Love is always warranted in every circumstance and to every individual that we will ever cross paths with because by design this mighty power is the answer to every complex conundrum in life and the only possible entrance for the individual into the kingdom of heaven. 1 John 4:7-21 (Just reflecting in the early morning hour) Shared again in apologetic defence of Pastor Paul J.
